San Blass Organize!! Up early again today and the hostel was already full of newcomers by 6am. Luckily I have a CS host for tonight as there are certainly no beds left in the hostel with the masses of people flocking to Panama City. I met this really nice family from Granada (English Migrants) and spent most of the morning chatting with them and they kindly invited me to join them for breakfast and cooked me a delicious omelette, sausages and fresh pineapple. Around 10am I checked out (quite satisfied with my stay at Magnolia) and went downstairs and met Rafa. Rafa is my CS Host and luckily lives just down the road. After dropping my things at his place I returned to meet Michael, Merian and Carlos the 2 German and one Colombian guy that I will be going to San Blass Islands with. After a coffee we went and organized our tour (which we will be doing independently - saving ourselfs 50% of tour price) and then made out way to the supermarket to buy some snacks, water and other bits n pieces. After Roarima and not having enough food I loaded up on snacks and brought about 10L of water as water is incredibly expensive on the island. The guys headed off to do some sightseeing whilst I went for a bit more of a wonder and found myself a cheap lunch of fried liver, Morcilla and avocado - a real struggle to find a meal under $2 here. Back at Rafas I organized my things and worked out a bit of a plan with him about my return in 3 days time. In the evening I went and caught up with the lads, went to supermarket again and made sure we are all set for our trip to San Blass. My host Raffa had invited his cousin around to cook myself and the German surfer Patacons (fried bananas) and a sausage stirfry thing.
