Puerto Vallarta!! Today is my last day in Mexico City and I am glad to be on the move again. I will however miss Ena's wonderful family and how well looked after I have been here. I woke to another fresh glass of carrot and capsicum juice - might not sound so delicious but trust me it is. I then did my morning yoga in the house before heading out for one last walk around the neighborhood and to my favorite parks. It was quiet for a Sunday morning and although there were people around there wasn't a lot probably due to the long weekend and people heading out of town. I made a stop at the market and picked up a few last health foods - just incase there not available to buy in Puerto Vallarta. A quick stop at the park and then it was back for lunch before heading off for the airport. Unfortunately Ena and her Dad were not back from Puebla - so i was only able to thank Ena's Mum and brother for their wonderful hospitality before saying goodbye. The metro to the airport was very easy and I ended up arriving with over 3 hours until departure time. I had a little drama with printing my ticket as I hadn't noted down my reservation code but after one not so nice attendant I was helped by a very friendly one that waved the 50 peso fee for me. The wait was long and I realized how tired I was; falling asleep whilst trying to read, the flight boarded on time however was about an hour late taking off. The flight was uncomfortable but thankfully short and within 20 minutes of disembarking I was out of the airport and onto a bus into the city. My host Gaby is right in the heart of downtown and after getting off the bus I was able to find her place with ease. Gaby my host is lovely and we hit it off straight away; she is a 37 year old nomad with a wanderlust for travel and a wonderfully positive energy. I cooked a vegetarian dinner for us both which included a soy mince stirfry alongside a garden salad and a nice glass of red wine. It has been so long since I drank a good red wine or any red wine for that fact a and so it was a real treat.
