Day 25. Another early morning walk with Elle, followed by breakfast and a bike ride. Then Elle had a bath as conditions are perfect for dog bathing. Also cooled her down as it was 34 here today. Had a swim and did some computer work and reading. Feel like I am at a resort! With my dog! Meanwhile, RM spent another day in Darwin Hospital. They tested his eyes and all clear there. Day 24. RM arrived in Darwin OK last night. I took Elle for a long walk early this morning where she confronted a boab tree. It did look a bit like a very large person looming over the track. Her hackles were up and she froze. I think she was a bit embarrassed when she realized what it was. She is missing the 'boss'! Later walked for an hour in the Mirima or Hidden Valley NP. A walk entrance is 2 mins from the van and you vanish into some amazing rock formations...

Days 22 and 23. Not our usual days. RM has had a bad headache for a few days and other health issues. Stoic as ever, he soldiered on, having decided however to see a Dr in Kununurra. During the night at Timber Creek, he suffered another intense headache. We ploughed on to Kununurra and went straight to the hospital. He went to Casuality while I managed to arrange accommodation. Lovely drive through the Gregory NP to Timber Creek this morning. We chose the caravan park behind the pub, recommended in Camps6. Nice spot if a bit chaotic in sorting out a site. We hoped to see crocodiles being fed this evening but they reneged. The water was too cold for them apparently!
