Day 2
After a very chilly night and morning, where the water froze in the hoses, another lovely day dawned. We drove through some beautiful towns like Wellington where we again had to comment on how lucky Australians are to have such great infrastructure. Nothing looks uncared for, quite unlike our trip in the late 60s. We are staying at the Mulga Hotel Caravan Park amidst red dirt and squabbling parrots. I am still in a T-shirt, after the temperature made it to 22. Cold night forecast however. O well, time to adjourn to the pub for a sundowner. Bourke is just down the track.
The pub is very welcoming and Elle went into her first bar. She is of course, of age.
