Wow... so much has happened... and I do believe I'm pretty much the worst blogger ever. Ah well, here I am. So I don't even know when the last time was that I updated this blog, So I'll just start with January 2, 2010.... our first round of Meet Me in St. Louis closed, several days later Molly Brown opened. I didn't have much to do in Molly Brown, so I went ahead and became a server as well in order to make a little extra cash.... yes I know what your thinking... you can never just take a break can you? And no, I can't :) Anyway, it was a lot of fun getting to interact with the audience before the show and during intermission. and even though I had a few mishaps... you know, like spilling red wine all over myself... or spilling red wine all over a ladies back... oops.... it really was a wonderful experience :)Molly Brown closed and I had to say goodbye to the new friends I made in AZ :(
But I went home, spent some time with my mom, and then headed to Germany to visit my family. It was so wonderful to see everyone and visit! It was a much needed trip, and I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful 10 days. When I got back i had a few days to relax until Bobby came and we drove to PA which is where I am now :)
So, Meet Me in St. Louis has been going pretty well here. Since I've been here, I have officially taken my equity card, which is a pretty huge step, but I am sooo excited. I also just found out that won the Roger Sturtavent Musical Theater Award (you send in an audition video and application, some casting directors and people from the Equity board watch and pick one male and one female winner who gets the honor and a nice little sum of $ :) ). I have also found myself an apartment in NYC and will be moving there in mid-May. I recently was told that I was also chosen to be a part of a cabaret series in the end of May and oh, I sent in my Merry-Go-Round contract for October. So yeah, a lot has happened, and life is pretty darn good. I can't complain. I feel extremely lucky and very blessed... :)
I am having a wonderful time doing Meet Me in St. Louis again. The cast is as amazing as the first time around and I'm still loving it just as much. So yeah, that's my life since January in a nutshell :) Hopefully I'll update again soon :)PS I did not read through this to spell/grammar check before posting... so please excuse any mistakes :)
