Hello! Well its my last day in Australia and am in AliceSprings. Its a Sunday so not much going on today so have some internet time. Ayres Rock was a good trip and was amazed by the size of it. We visited the Olgas, saw amazing sunset and sunrise at Ayres Rock. It was raining when we arrived there in the morning so it was closed to climbers. Seemingly it is closed the majority of time due to high temperatures, winds, rain and the occasional aboriginal ceremony....

Happy New Year everyone! I'm sorry this is so late and havent been in touch since last year but have been very busy touring Oz (sorry to rub that in again!). So far we've been to Sydney for New Year which was amazing. We managed to get a spot at the botanical gardens after queuing at 1pm which gave us a view of the opera house and harbour bridge. It was a long day waiting around but the fireworks were well worth it! Unfortunately, they were serving horrible win...

Merry Christmas everyone! I'm writing this from a place called Orange which is a few hours from Sydney. Australia has been fantastic so far. We arrived in Melbourne and had a few days sightseeing and I spent my birthday night with some people we met at the hostel, following a comedy night. Was so amazed as I was asked for ID to get into a pub on my birthday - 31 years of age!! Pretty chuffed about that one... Anyway, I decided to go on a day trip to Phillip...
