Australia is hot, very hot and humid!

To escape the heat James and I went up to Karanda, its about a 45 minute drive away up into the table mountains, which was very nice. It had tropical rainforests and was much cooler up there. We went on walks through the forests and went on a very long walk to Barron Gorge, which was beautiful, well worth the walk. I shall try and upload those photos as it was pritty.

Up in Karanda we went to a bat rescue centre and spoke with the owner and she was showing us the different species of bats, and they were really cute.

It was a great day, and that evening we had a thunder storm and torrential rains! it felt like being home again! i suppose we should of expected it staying in a tropical rainforest region - clue would of been in the name 'RAINforest!!!'
