Hey well arrived in Auckland got to my Hostel the flight was completely knakkering my whole body clock is out and i keep waking up at 2 in the mornin wide awake (Mum Dad ud be proud that i acctually get up early) Oh and its pissing it down. Anway early nights slee. Wed up early to have a walk around Auckland get essentail (Toothpaste ect) pretty uneventful day really planned what to do next then booked a trip up further up north to Pahai in Bay of Islands for next day.Thurs awake again at 2 acctually get up about 6 to have a shower and get ready before by bus leaves at 8. get down to bus meet some cool people on it only a small mini bus mad tour guide drivn called Spike. We firstly drive to this place and see the really big tree in the pics. then we drive onto Goat Island where the snorkeling is meant to be really good but cos its rainin we all decide against it cos visability is really poor spend about 10 mins there. then we leave as we are tryin to drive up a fairly steep hill the mini bus konks out and won't go any further up but engine is runnin as we start to reverse back down the trailer on the back Jack knifes leavin us in the middle of the road on a sttep hill with a bend at the top (Shock Horror). So as 1 of the girls gets out to try to get to the top to warn traffic this little people carrier comes flyin round the the corner (At this point i have stood up in the bus to get out to un hitch the trailer see the car skiiding towards us and grab the seat in front) slams on the breaks skids and crash smashes straight into us woman in the other cars starts screeming cos she got kids in the car (Don't worry know 1 was hurt). We get out push the van up the road a bit so we can unhitch the trailer and get everything off the road. We do so every 1 calms down. Fire truck turns up about 30mins late consisting of over 60's firemen. then a police car comes takes staements and about another 30mins and the ambulance turns up non of them needed. Well thats the end of the crash. we now have about an hour till another van comes to pick us up so we decide to go back to the beach and have a decent look around rain has just about stopped buts its very overcast so no snorkeling got some pics but there crap. Anyway bus eventually comes to pick us up and we head on our way to Pehai. I am now in Pehai obviously written this and i have just booked a 1 night cruise round some of the islands where u get to fish of the boat and have a barbie on it sounds really good. Anway thats the end of the journal so far about to go have a barbie at my hostel and have some drinks so till next enjoy yourselves.
