Hi everyone,

We're currently in Santa Monica, L.A. having driven down the Pacific coast from San Francisco over the last week.

Sorry we've not written anything yet but we've been on the move every day so we've not really had time to stop off in internet cafes. We're keeping notes with old-fashioned pen and paper though, so we'll write a full update as soon as we get time.

We had an abortive attempt at uploading photos a few days ago, which is why you might have had a message saying there are some there when there aren't. It's not you going mad, it's our lack of computer skills. Again, we're saving all the photos as we go and will upload them when we find a PC with the necessary software, or find someone who knows what they're doing with these things.
