Hello folks,

Despite what it says, we're not actually in Chicago at the moment, we've just arrived in Fiji, but we've now got high speed tinternet access and time on our hands so time to update you all on where we've been and what we've done.

I realise that some of you are really interested and want to know every detail of our trip. Others have basically feigned interest, didn't even know they were subscribed to this thing or specifically asked not to get all the boring longwinded reports (thanks Anushia!).

So to keep everyone happy there'll be a short 'management summary' for the people who just vaguely want to know we're still alive, followed by some more detail for people who care / have more time on their hands.

Whilst on the subject of admin and ground rules, it's come to our attention that there's a 'rate this blog' feature on this website (cheers Dan, clearly in the 'too much time' category). Lord knows why you'd feel the need to rate our work, but if you're going to get involved make sure it's 5 stars. It may not be interesting, but give marks for effort and spelling at least.
