helo helo helo. Well I am currently in Brisbane after traveling down from Rainbow Beach. A stop in Noosa which is quite a large town. This is where the rich and famous (well maybe just rich) hang out because there are alot of classy and swish places to stay and eat and drink. Not realy for me on my backpacking butget but I could dream. Its realy nice and has lovely beach. After arriving at lunch time I went for a long walk along the coast and back through the rainforest. Very very hot and sunny. Lovely. The evening was spent just hanging out and chilling which was also nice. The next day was very very excited as I was going to the zoo. The Australian zoo that is were Steve Irwin was made famouse. It was a good day strolling around the zoo watching the crocodile shows and tiger shows and feeding the animals. Checking out the deadliest snakes in Oz and how to die a quick death after a bite.
After a couple of lovely and sunny days in Noosa I traveled down the coast again and the next stop is Brisbane. This is a mega city. Its realy strange hitting a city again with its high rise buildings after being mainly in beach towns. As I got off the bus I aquired a friend who seemed a bit lost. It was a good thing because she turned out to be realy nice and we spent most of the time in Brisbane hanging out. We went out on the first night and met a couple of friends that she already knew. You couldnt drink in our hostel so we went to there hostel with our bag of goon (Cheep, crap boxed whine). We were also slated by the cashier in the bottle shop as to how we could drink such rubbish, but budgets must. Anyway along we went with our goon to the other hostel which did not have any crockery. So the four of us were sat around drinking this lush whine out of randome empty bottles that we could find, this was a new low for me however it did turn out to be a realy good night and we hit the town for a boogy. The next day we went for a walk of the city. It is actually a realy nice city as there are realy nice strange art deco buildings amongst the tower blocks. There is also the south bank which is a realy nice spot to chill out and has a artificial lagoon and nice cafes and bars. We then headed back and did some window shopping and drooled at the wagamama menu (Jen you know what Im talking about). I have another day here then am moving on, but brisbane is a realy nice place.
love to all and keep happy in the cold xxx
