heya!
Our last days in London were quite memorable! Sunday, we had lunch at the Albert, and I realized that I was not a big fan of the cheese and pickle sandwich. Pickle sauce!! seriously?! Well, at least now I know. I´m glad I tried it. THe Falafel burger Meg shared with me was delish!!! Mom, we definatly need to learn how to make falafels when I get home. Amie tried the fish n chips....I don´t think the fish agreed with her though. Next, we took the bus and strolled over to the Tower Bridge and the South Bank. I think we all enjoyed the Tate Modern Museum. There was one sculpture I particularly enjoyed. I don´t remember what it was called or who it was by, but I REALLY liked it...something about a melody, I think....
Well, after a couple of hours of art, we were off across the Millenium bridge and on our way to see St. Paul Cathedral! It was enormous! wow! very intense..
Monday morning, we were up early and moving Meg´s stuff to storage. The transaction went smoothly. Though it was a bit exhausting, we were pumped to go to Oxford street for some shopping, afterall, we ARE the Jomegamie. We fueled up with some DELICIOUS tricolour sandwiches from Makemine and began some shopping Oxford style.
After a long day, we went to Vapiano´s for dinner. What better way to wrap up our stay in London than with some more good food, some Strambo and some laundry? I can´t think of any.
cheers!
