BARCELOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONA!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love it here! i'm SO glad we stayed a whole week. definitely worth it. so amie pretty much described how her and i spent our days... haha... joanna went off exploring on her own and has some pretty great adventures to tell you all about! as for our evenings... our first night was quite relaxed. we hung out in the hostel, talked to some dude about barcelona-ness, and then headed up to our room for some much needed sleep...

Back to Barcelona... We loved this place! Like I said, Megan and I mostly just laid around at the beach... tough work I know! We would wake up every morning and walk down the street to the fruit market, where we'd pick up something sweet and juicey. We'd walk down the street a bit further to the supermarket where we always got the same thing... bread and cheese. The meal of champions. And by champions, I mean Platts. So we'd casually stroll down Las Ramblas...

Ohhhhh Barcelona! Already loving this city. This is our last long stay before this trip really starts to get hectic... so we decided to stay in Barcelona for a week... after all, we are in love with Spain. We are in LOVE with Spain!!! Madrid is SO beautiful. Our hostel is amazing... it is just two blocks from Plaza del Sol, the center of everything. And the facilities are amazing... nearly brand new. I think staying here may spoil us a bit! We arrived in Spain early Friday morning after taking the overnight train from Paris (that´s a whole other story... lousy loud obnoxious Frenchmen!). What a relief to be in a country where we at least know a BIT of the languag...
