AHHH! Can't believe we're all here in LONDON! This means our European experience is finally beginning! Megan and I met Joanna at the airport early this morning. Then, after dropping her backpack off at Meg's flat, we went to Cafe Nero for lattes, sandwiches, and to plan our plans. We pulled out the Eurail map of Europe and timetable and got down to business! We've got a "tentative" schedule figured for the next two months. It is...
2 June - Paris
4 June - Madrid/Barcelona
11 June - Italy
18 June - Greece
25 June - Turkey
28 June - Croatia
1 July - Budapest
2 July - Austria
4 July - Prague
6 July - Poland
12 July - Germany
15 July - Amsterdam
18 July - Belgium
20 July - Dublin
22 July - Cork
23 July - London
26 July - Home
Megan was pulsating with excitment, wanting to laugh and cry. I think the excitement was the only thing keeping Joanna awake. So after our conference, we decided to get this show on the road!
Meg took us on a stroll to Buckingham Palace, where we had tea with the Queen. Ok, we PRETENDED to have tea with the Queen... she was busy napping ...probly. We took some goofy pictures, you know, trying to "break in" to the palace. Then we took a stroll through Green Park, stopping to have a set down on some randomly placed chairs. We left shortly after sitting though because Joanna and I started getting sleepy.
Now back at Megan's flat, we are comparing what we've packing, trying to determine what was can share and consolidate. Megan is also packing up her things to take home, so we can leave them in storage while we're on our adventure.
In conculsion, the adventure is hereeeeeeeee! And... packing light is hard!
