Landed in Jordan! Got here about 5pm. Able to book Petra tomorrow with driver named Sailor. Leaving at 7am. Tonight just eating in and the kids going swimming then up to bed. Hotel had big security with auto risers - big posts coming up from the ground to stop cars driving into the hotel till security approves them. Prices seem a little high at the hotel- $3.25 for a kit Kat bar normal size. We did find a store nearby. Way better pricing. Candy more like .75. Not sure why hotel so high - convenience? Could not see much on way to hotel as turned dark quickly. It is at least 10 degrees cooler here over Kuwait. Also they said Thursday they might get snow. First in many years- figures when you are on vacation eh? Visa and stuff at airport was more processed than in Kuwait. They had signs and u were forced to go certain was. In Kuwait u could end up in the country w/o a visa if not careful.
