City tour today. After humping it the last 2 days we took it easy. Today we grabbed a cab to the Citadel and roman Theatre. Actually close to the hotel sort of just $6JD or about $10US. The Citadel are ruins of an old city. There are ruins as far back as the Bronze Age. The ones standing are of the Uuymad Palace 720 AD. Near it is the Temple of Hercules - built my Marcus Arelius in 161AD. Below the Citadel is the Roman Theatre. Built around 131 AD by Antonius Pius it held 6000 people. It is very intact and quite impressive. Finally back to the hotel about 3. Going to go try their chicken wings- best in Amman?? At the hotel bar. The hotel has been great. Everybody is very helpful and friendly. The are a bit expensive on food and water and the little things but it was safe and clean. Only bad was lack of wifi. Instead they only had direct hook ups. Tomorrow we go back to Kuwait. We are all sad to be leaving behind these great places and wonderful people we have met.
