Saturday - Natasha and I spent the day in the blue mountains trekking through the australian rainforest and taking numerous photos! :) I spent most of my time trying to encourage Natasha around cliff corners and across waterfalls! Amazing views was worth the 2 hour train journey! Made friends with locals particularly an Aussie man with a keen interest in exaggerating the dangers of the bush!
Sunday - WHALES!!!! 5 humpback whales swam past us as we stood on the beach in Newcastle looking for crabs. It was absolutely fantastic! Have spent the rest of the day relaxing on a beach and wandering round the coast to Nobby's lighthouse. Off to Port Macquarie tomorrow and headed straight for the koala sanctuary so I can hold a koala as Natasha carries my bags and takes photos.

Dad and Mum Good spelling, Maria!! Well done Natasha for being bold. Looking for crabs?? Just buy a sandwich. What is all this about an Aussie man? Great news, keep up the adventures and enjoy the experience. What's that, Skippy? The Australian cricket team has disappeared?? Really good day at the test yesterday.
Grandma and Veronica A little bit different girls to trekking in the lakes or the Peak District! Who is Nobby? Glad you had the opportunity to see whales and remember to smuggle out my koala from the santctuary, if not a real one then a toy or fridge magnet will suffice! Lol. Happy adventuring x
Grandad Watch out for the koalas - some are full of fleas! We also enjoyed sitting on Mrs Macquarie's Seat and visiting the aquarium where we saw a duck-billed platypus and sharks. You are now in new territory to us so we look forward to hearing to hearing more.
