Monday - Arrived in Port Macquarie and were straight onto bikes to cycle the 9km coastline. Amazing beaches, warm weather and a beautiful sunset made our stay at port Macquarie thoroughly enjoyable. We spent the evening huddled under blankets (the evenings get cold) watching a film, enemy of state, with the hostel owners and fellow backpackers. They gave us free donuts...worth staying up for!
Tuesday - we visited the Koala Hospital in the morning and read about the prevalence of dog attacks on koala bears, which did nothing to dampen Natasha's fears of all things dog. We then sat by the harbour eating lunch and catching some Aussie rays. After being given more free donuts we hopped on the bus and headed to Coffs harbour where we will be staying for the next two nights.
My bet is on an unusual name for the royal baby, Natasha's bet is on George.

Veronica My bet is on henry! Enjoying your blogs girls. Very hot and sticky here.
Dad and Mum Good blog entry. Good to hear about the bikes. My outside tip is Philip. I did pick Mickelson for the Open so on a roll. Mum has just spent an hour watching the royal baby emerge from the hospital. I could hardly contain my excitement. Hope Coffs Harbour keeps up the high standards you have found! We're hitting 36 degrees here, so not much chance of the usual holiday yomping. Bit of R & R.
