Getting up when the sun was still down remained a bit of a novelty to us all. However, we were slowly getting used to early mornings. After breakfast we left Amman and headed off to Mount Nebo which was something rather special. Being able to look over from the mountains and see multiple counties resting down below was so unique and a sight that none of us will ever forget.
After quickly hopping back on the bus we ventured towards Karak Castle, where we received a very interesting history lesson from our tour guide Osamah (otherwise known as Sam). It was so fascinating to learn how people lived during the crusades and how the architecture of the castle was so specific.
Another 2 hours on the bus and we had finally made it to Wadi Rum. After soaring through the desert in jeeps (in pitch darkness) we arrived at our Bedouin camp; where we would stay the night. That night was probably the best of my life, dancing round a campfire, eating a buffet, looking up at the stars and the moon till the early hours - perfect!
