The day we were all dreading began with a cheeky cup of tea on the balcony overlooking the many pools and palm trees scattered around the hotel grounds. When we dined for breakfast it was like as if we were royalty. There was so much on offer to tantalise our taste buds and the staff and chefs we so helpful and willing to prepare us anything extra that we wanted. After saying goodbye to the luxurious rooms of the hotel we drove back to Amman where we revisited Dahiet Al Rasheed school to say goodbye and farewell.
Queen Alia International airport was very different on the outgoing side. People were bustling about and crowding the main check in area - signs could only help us find where we needed to be (shame none of us spoke arabic). The flight home seemed much shorter than our first flight, but that wasn't a bad thing as we were all so tired and wanted to go to sleep. We arrived in the UK around 12:30AM UK time, after we had been awake for about 23 hours - now that waited us was a 2 hour bus ride.
