Have been cruising the beaches north of salvador after the crazy carnival! Decided me, John and the purse stings needed a good rest! Took a bus to Arembepe (small coastal village) and chillied out eating pineapple, getting sunburnt and watching the stars at night. 01/02/08 Arrived in Salvador, its amazing! People are everywhere and the atmosphere is buzzing with 24 hour patry spirit. music and dancing is going on all day and tonight we are going to an all night rave following the floats! drinking already with an aussie guy and a german guy, Juliana and her husband. They are looking after us so well and making sure we have loads to do here! gotta get ready now, parting calls....

30/01 Arrived in Rio, met up with gerson and started on the beers straight away! went to copacabana beach and had lunch in a nice restaurant with Gerson and some of his mates. Had a really nice mixed grill platter with sides of rice, chips and black beans. Walked all along the beach and went on the ferris wheel allowing you to see all over the beach front and beyond. ..great views....still on the beer!
