Surprise! We do have Internet connection (at least on and off).
The ride into the National Park was spectacular. The landscape is humbling...
Big mountain masses and vast plains, lakes of different colours and an ever changing sky with beautiful clouds.
But it's also depressing to navigate through the park. In January/February devastating fires have destroyed more than 12 hectare of the park's staggeringly scenic terrain.
The fire did, however, spare the wonderful lodge we are staying at. The location is stunning: next to a fast-flowing waterfall fed by a blue-green lake and in the shadow of the three famous rock 'towers' which give the park its name.
Off for a hike now and then Pisco Sours as the sun drops over the Torres...
