So for the last few days we have just been mooching around the city eating ice cream and taking photos. Yesterday we went up to pragues castle and parliament buildings where at the top there is a fantastic view of the city. We then went for a lunch at our regular little cafe,Bohemia bagel, where they literally make the best food in the world. ..probably.
When we returned to our room, we checked our emails to find that we had been sent our flight details to our next destination....Georgia! We leave on Sunday afternoon! For those people who are maybe not aware, we will be working as English teachers. This is part of a programme that the Georgian government has designed to bring into the country as many native English speakers as possible to help teach in the schools in Georgia, this has been such a radical plan, that they intend to keep the programme running for another ten years. We have been briefed that upon arrival to Georgia we should expect media attention...so quite an exciting experience. We are both really excited to help make a difference to the lives of the children and think its great that the Government are actively trying to better their country. Our flight actually goes via the Ukraine, and in total will take us just under five hours of flying to get there from prague.
Whilst Emma was reading out our flight details, I was opening a pot noodle and wanted to sniff the little pack of flavouring powder stuff that gets included in the pack, however, as this was a cheaper version of pot noodle, and not a proper pot noodle, the powder was extemely fine and as I sniffed it, half of It went up my nose, much to Emma's delight! Anyway, probably another 'you had to be there moment'.
Over the next few days we are going to do some more shopping and hopefully make it to the Zoo.
Thank you to everyone who has left messages, we have a limit of 100 photos so will have to start deleting some soon.
Anyway...
Sbohem for now!
