Hello from a snowy, snowy, cold, chilly Georgia :( That's right, it's March and we have snow again. It's very strange weather over here as last week on Joe's Birthday, we had highs of 17degrees! So because of the lovely white stuff we had to cancel our trip to Kutaisi. We thought it would be a waste of money to go all that way just for the McDonalds and not to sightsee so we have postponed our outing for a sunnier day. Hopefully Georgia will experience a more traditional Spring soon, we are getting a bit fed up of living in all of our layers night and day, everyday!
So we again have a pretty boring blog entry for you.
Joe had a good Birthday, the children at his school sang to him and the teachers gave him vodka so he had a fun day. Our host Mum cooked a nice tea in the afternoon and our host Sister and her friend gave Joe a pair of 'horns' traditionally used to drink wine out of.
We have nothing to really say about the week that followed, school is just the same and after school we go to the markets or just relax.
This week on Thursday it is 'Women's Day' so we get a day off school, ideal.
We have also started planning a trip to Armenia in the Easter holidays and are going to visit some more European countries before coming home in June.
We promise we will do something fun soon to make the blog more interesting!
