A bad nights sleep on the floor was topped off by several laughing kookaburra's nearby. They are so loud. They sound like a pack of monkeys. The weirdest noise I've heard coming from a bird that's for sure. I only know they are laughing kookaburras because I saw them at the zoo. Chris & Merryl leave this morning so fingers crossed nobody takes the beds so I can get one tonight. I speak to Merren on the phone for 4 hours this morning. By the time the call ends its lunch time here and 2:30am in England. It probably would have gone on for longer had her iPod battery not run out. The weather is really nice today which is a pleasant surprise as it was forecast cloudy storms. After I eat brunch I go for a massive coastal walk on my own, which is perfect because I need to reflect on this mornings phone call. I probably walk about 8 miles or so. Lovely scenery. Lots of little coves and bays popular with surfers and views out across the sea. I end up walking 2 long scenic routes right around and into an adjoining town, Noosa Heads which is a lovely little place with a nice beach. I get myself a boost juice drink and then head back to the hostel. When I get back it turns out Sammie & Raf (the London dude) done almost the same walk too. They went along the coastal walk but took a much shorter route. They walked for 3 hours, my walk took 5 hours. I lay down in the shade by the pool and put some after sun gel on. My skin is still peeling from when I burnt it in surfers paradise over a week ago. Me and Sammie go to the shop to get some dinner. I get 2 pot noodle type things and a packet of crisps. I genuinely can't wait until me and Sammie separate on this trip. She does nothing but moan constantly. Every day, about everything. She's really starting to tweak my nipples. After I eat my dinner I make a video of 'Australia Part 1', which takes the best part of 2 hours. Maybe more. It's good though. I can't wait to post it to YouTube for peeps to see. The good news is its the end of the day and there are 4 beds free. Which means free accommodation and a bed each for me and Sammie. It's a bit cheeky and risky but b***** it. I may have to try it again sometime. It's loud around the place again tonight with lots of people drinking nearby. So I put my music on low in my luggers and fall asleep at about 1ish.
