The last few weeks has been awesome. I've had so much fun I can't believe I've just had my birthday already.
We had a house party a couple weeks ago as the boys used to live in our house came back for a visit. We also went out down Darling Harbour to Watershed and Cargo Bar, it was really good fun, had a change of scenery and starting to explore other places. It was Darling Harbour's 21st birthday the weekend before my birthday and we went to watch the parade and fireworks. It was amazing, really packed and the fireworks were beautiful at night. I can imagine it will be the same when we celebrate New Year. Sarah also arrive the weekend before my birthday, we are getting very excited for our East Coast trip in July/August time.
We went to Side Bar for a night out on Friday after work as we all felt like we needed a drink. It was the first time I met Ian, Ashley and Devon. Ian and Ashley were on my buddy list but we had never met. We had a really good night and Phil invited them to my birthday.
I had the most amazing birthday party ever. The theme was 'Glow & Glitter'. Everyone made so much effort for the evening and we had so many glowsticks everywhere. It started off in our house and with Emma's goon punch it got pretty messy. There must've been about 40 people in the house including outisde in the backyard. Everyone said they had the best weekend ever since they have been in Sydney. My housemates, Kat, Emma, Isa Wing and a few friends decorated the house, it was so cool, we had so much fun. Rachel bought me a tiara and I also had a 'princess' banner to wear. It was really good banter and I got a day trip in Cairns for snorkelling and day-sailing. Special thanks to Emma, Louise, Thomas, Phil, Lisa, Wing, Kat, Isa, Rachel and Lindsay for the present - loved it.
The night ended in Side Bar yet not a lot of people remember leaving the house! Apparently I pushed Anne-Marie in the trolley and it went so fast it fell off the curb and she fell over as well with a drink in her hand. It was one of the funniest moments ever. Although, I had to be reminded of this and she found a bump on her head...oops.
On the Sunday, the house was a total mess and it took us ages to clean up. After we went down to Darling Harbour for birthday lunch at The Docks. It was nice and relaxing and we ended the day with a DVD fest. It was the best weekend ever. The photos explains it all. This Thursday is 'Tight & Bright' night at Scubar and we're all planning to go. I can imagine it's going to be another messy night.
