Still in One Tree Hill!! xoxoxox

Hello from the snow!!!! Travelled down to Ohakune, Mount Ruapehu (also known as "Mount Doom" if youre an LOTR fan!) on Saturday with Miki and Beej - about a four hour journey form Auckland and I was sat in the back as entertainment for baby Mathias. Stayed at a bach (the NZ term for a 'holiday home' and pronounced "batch" for those that dont know!!) near the bottom of the mountains in the hope of doing some snowboarding..... didnt get there in time to do any ...

Well it's Thursday morning, and these three weeks I'm at Miki's we're just sort of hanging out togther ad playing with baby Mathias, as I did all my sightseeing of the North Island last time I was here in November (and its winter here now: so cold; so not doing much else other than shopping and having coffee!). Went to Glassons yesterday at Dress Smart Outlet Store in Onehunga, and for just over $70 (which when you think 100 english pounds is NZ$270, isnt much!!)...

Hello! Having a lovely time with Miki and Beej and baby Mathias!! We're off to Mainly Music with Mathias today and maybe the Zoo later.... Met up with Heidi for a cup of tea in Newmarket yesterday. I still need to go shopping, need to buy some warm clothes as it's FREEZING here (compared to Cook Islands and Fiji anyway...) and will be much colder when I get to the South Island. kIA oRA!!! I've made it to New Zealand!!! Its absolutley fantastic to see Miki and Beej and to meet new baby Mathias!!!!! Because I was here last November it feels like coming home, and its so fabulous to have a hot shower when you know the water isnt going to run out and there arent ants running over everywhere and I dont have to wear my flip flops in the shower and I know I have a lovely double bed to sleep in tonight!!!
