We will have been in Santiago for four days after tomorrow and I think that that is more than enough time here. It isn´t very special as cities come. It is very modern and developed for a developing country and doesn´t have anything that great to see - it is a very practicle place. We did visit the coast one day which was quite nice but again not really that amazing and the seaside town itself was quite boring and dull.
Chile hasn´t been too good to us either (maybe that is why we are bitter). We seem to get segregated and ripped off at every opportunity or we just end up meeting random weirdos. Today just trying to find and internet cafe we got offered a coffee by a lady working on a stall, invited to sit down and read in a second hand book shop because we asked if they had a lonely planet book on New Zealand, so the man had to telephone what he called an expert to help him and then after a while he handed us a national geographic book on N.Zealand - so funny, and we were made fun of by this guy in this internet cafe for asking to use the internet - crazy place!!!
