Day 8 we spent our day exploring Budapest. In the morning we went to the Hungarian parliament building which is absolutely massive. There are numerous statues there commemorating Hungarian heroes like Lajos Kossuth who began the uprising that would lead to a failed Hungarian Revolt in 1848.
