We had a low key day today. About 1pm we headed out and went through the museum at the Uppsala Cathedral. Today Charlotte and I spent the day in Stockholm and had a wonderful day. We took the train from Uppsala and arrived in Stockholm about 11am. Today Charlotte and I went through the Museum Gustavianum and the Uppsala Cathedral. The museum is extremely interesting. It housed one of the first anatomical theaters in the world. Convicts were dissected in front of students and this is how they discovered how the body worked. I took the Tube to Heathrow for my flight to Sweden and landed in Stockholm about 5:15pm. The sun was out (it was pouring rain in London) and Charlotte was on hand to meet me. We hopped on a bus to Uppsala and walked to their apartment beside the Uppsala University campus. Charlotte and I will do some exploring tomorrow and we'll take the train to Stockholm before I leave, too.

Today Laura, Tommy and I went to the National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery. I loved seeing the paintings I had learned about in Art History and the Portrait Gallery was very interesting, too. Tommy was pretty good and we hope he is assimilating all the culture even as he is being wheeled by the paintings in his stroller. Tomorrow I head for Sweden to visit Charlotte and Dan. I'll be taking the Tube to Heathrow on my own.
