. The new hotel is basic but for only 9.50 Euro a night each its grand. Had a walk around, there is loads of bars and restaurants and its near a big park so looked good.Next morn, went for a walk around the west lake as its called, willows touching off the water, walkways around the waters edge leading up to quiet cafes and ponds, huge trees with kept lawns and gardens. After breakfast we hired bikes and cycled around the lake area, stopped at the china tea museum and saw the plantations, and went to an active temple, monks walking around the place which was set in fairyland site stuck into the mountains surrounded by woods. Got our enlightenment and headed back. Had a late lunch at a local spot, had fish which was recommended and tasted as good, Triona had pork and tofu stir fried. Wanted to go for a few beers that night but the three days national mourning had begun so places were closed.
