Went towards the city area today, wanted to go to a Chinese medicine museum which is located near a pedestrian street full of market stalls. The street was interesting although a lot of it is junk you could pick up bargains if you wanted, we found the museum we think, it was all in Chinese writing, there was jars of light brown liquid with snakes in them and roots of various kinds the rest we could only imagine what it was.Had the local fish for lunch, nice but nearly all bone, we were able to get garlic potatoes also which were great.Went to the Lake museum in the afternoon, stuffed animals and the history of the area. We were spoiled for choice for places to eat in the evening. Went into this one near us which had no English, pictures alright of whole duck and chicken and I mean whole, Head Feet the lot. Chickens feet on there own also, we done the cheeky thing and walked out! Found this great Thai restaurant, had octopus and chicken, looking forward to Thailand if the food is that good.
