hey everyone I am so glad to hear from all of you on the message board i makes me miss home less while i am here. today we learned how the water filters are made and worked with the team in charge of constructing them. then they let us help make a few it was really fun and dirty :)

after the filter construction process we headed for the market. i didn't realize how much of an oasis the songhai center is because once we left the gates of the center we were surrounded by exauste and the smell of stagnate water and fish, I was very overwhelmed by the whole experience, for once in my life i was the minority. kids were screaming "YOVO" and kissing our hands while the adults were a bit aprehensive any way things are going great and i am meeting with the president of the center to talk about marketing and the fiter so that should be exciting!!! one thing i really miss from home is ice and water that is not mineral water.
