My last blog from Africa. i cant believe it is all over. I am really going to miss this place, although I have to say that I am excited to come home see everyone and have a big glass of water with ice in it (crazy the things you miss when they are not around all the time huh)

I feel like we just got started here, everyone is really comfortable with eachother and that also go for the staff and students here at Songhai. Last night we had a talk that got pretty emotional (yes, I cried) I never realized how good i have it and how much everyone wants the oppertunity to live in the states and get an education there.

This morning was probable one of my favorite parts of the trip. we tested a marketing idea a few of us had to set up some filtrons outside the church facility to give thanks to the community of songahi and the community around songhai. so after church we gave out free cups of water that had been run through the filter. It as a hit and i think whe convinced the workers in the filter department to carry on each sunday to raise awarness and also promote their product; I was a very rewarding morning.

then i packed my bags took a quick stroll around Songhai and took a shower we leave for the airport around 8pm tonight and have 16 hours in a plane to look forward to.
