Well I've been here in New Zealand for about 2 weeks now, so thought I better find a few minutes to update this blog. I'm afraid there's nothing wildly exciting to report as I have spent most of the last two weeks in banks, post offices, recruitment agencies or looking for places to live! I could now probably get a degree in filling out forms - I must have done at least 200 since I got here for all different things.
You will probably all be delighted to hear that it's freezing here, I've arrived right in the middle of New Zealand's winter but apparently I am in the warmest part of New Zealand, so I should be grateful! Last night was particularly fun as the heating in my apartment decided to stop working - fun times! It's even better when your family and friends remind you on the phone how hot it is in the UK!
So I've managed to find somewhere to live in Auckland for the next couple of months at least anyway, the job hunting is still in progress, I will keep you all updated - fruit picking or milking cows is the ABSOLUTE last resort!
I'm going to a bar tonight to watch the New Zealand v South Africa rugby game, and looking forward to a LARGE drink after a very busy week.
My little shout out this week goes to my sis's mate Rosanna aka Cheryl Cole, who's had a stressful week like me and managed to lose her passport 48 hours before they were meant to go to Spain - at least you got there in the end, hope you girls are having fun!
That's all from me for now. x
