Hi all!

Sorry for very long delay...!

Lots has happened in the past few weeks! Teaching is getting much easier, and we're bonding well with the other teachers in the staff room, especially Dainess, our neighbour and Godwin, who is an absolute ledge and potentially a drug dealer (pure conspiracy theory i hasten to add!). He does have 'meetings' at the Kenyan border though...!!! Dennis is my favourite in one class, he's an absolute legend. I burnt my face the other week, and he just pointed at me and said 'teacher, red!'

Weekends are really fun! We generally stay in Arusha or travel to Moshi. We went to Machame waterfalls a couple of weeks ago. We trekked for an hour through the rainforest, after learning how to make coffee and drinking banana beer. I jumped off the waterfall, which was sooo fun, but a tad painful (belly flopped slightly!)

Nights out are always interesting, lots of sitting on the roof of our hostel then going to club with other mzungus and maasai warriors! So much fun! Our house, situated at Ilkidinga, has been nicknamed Alkidinga...enough said, I think!

This weekend was the Ngorongoro Crater, absolutely incredible. Will update this later as too much to say, too little time!! And Kili and Zanzibar in 2 weeks...going to be an amazing 2 weeks half term!!!
