Folks!

This is really just a test, to see if it works but, technically this is my first blog entry! As most of you know (btw apologies to all those who I don't really know, but who will recieve this on their home page), I'm off to Tanzania in approximately a week and I am writing this blog merely so I don't have to spend hours and hundreds of pounds updating you all using email/wall posts on a crappy computer in an internet cafe :) Of course, this assumes you actually care...!! Here's hoping...

Before you ask, no i'm not packed, yes i'm freaking out. But I have a wind up lantern, a rape alarm and (some) common sense, so I'm sure it'll all be fine!
