Our last day in Eugene with our family friends.
We started it off at an awesome breakfast spot; The Original Pancake House.
They had a huge variety of pancakes, one was called a Dutch Baby!
We all thought his was quite hilarious, as we all had lived or were living in the Netherlands and no one had ever heard of a Dutch Baby. It turned out to be a bowl like pancake with lemon and powdered sugar.
The coffee kept flowing and my blueberry pancakes hit the spot.
While the gang went to tour Michelle's campus, Mom, Tina and I went to a bar to have a drink and talk. It was great chatting with them, we talked of anything and everything while sipping on raspberry beer.
When the family found our hide out, we all went for some icecream and when our separate ways. Michelle and Amanda went for a nap, while the rest of us went to the Springfield Mall to walk around. We lost Mom and Tina again!! And found them 45 minutes later in an Applebees having wine and a snack.
So we did the same...it was happy hour! hehe
After our long island ice teas, we all regrouped at the Phoenix Pizza place. Where mom and I split a gluten free Greek pizza and watched the 4th NBA finals game over a pitcher of beer.
At the end of the night we had to say our goodbyes, which was hard because they are such a great people!
Us girls packed up our bags and got ready for our next road trip back down to the bay area.
