After being in Venice for 12 hours it was time to head back to the hotel, have a shower and get ready to check out in the morning. Challenge 1 - find my hotel without a plan and without spending too much money - complete! I've surprised myself, I jumped on a coach from Venice Treviso airport, 40 minutes from Venice and 30 minutes from my hotel in Mestre. Only €7 compared to €45 for a taxi =] I was in even more luck because I found out my hotel was in walking distance of where the coach dropped me off.
