So I'm sun burnt, hungover and an Australian guy is in my room!(in an innocent way) All signs of an awesome day! The day came with complications but the night was amazing!!! I tried most of the day to get a train to Rome and it proved so difficult I gave up! So i'm now heading to Lyon for 2 nights, the gastronomical capital of France, in a few hours.

So last night me and Caitlin came back to the room after trying to sort where we r going. She then cooked me dinner, it was pasta with Mediterranean vegetables and a tomato and basil salad served in an endive(random type of lettuce)! We then opened a bottle of wine and headed to the common area(valerio's office) he said he was heading out with a few guys who were drinking and did we wanna come. We wasn't sure until a hot Australian walked in :) He's name was Adam and he said he was heading over to another hostel where they were all playing drinking games, I managed to invite myself and Caitlin along.

We went round the corner and I can't believe it was a hostel, it had a bar! Really cheap drinks, everyone was having a good time and playing drinking games. Adam told me to sit down with a group and introduce myself to Pete a friend from Australia he was travelling with and Christian a guy from Chicago they had met here. Pete got us straight in to a drinking game called pyramid and I quickly lost my drink then we played f*** the dealer another game. So we were getting drunk pretty quickly and it was great to be out and meeting people. I met a couple of guys from manchester, but most of the group were Australian and American. We moved on with the group heading to a club called Wayne's. Caitlin ditched out, she was shattered and didn't feel too good so me and Pete walked her home. He new the way to the bar and was staying at our hostel so I stuck with him. He was cute too, he's Australian it says it all lol

We got to Wayne's and was queueing to get in and this English guy was slagging off the the bouncer which I thought wasn't a smart move, he was sooo tall and had muscles which I'm pretty sure he knew how to use. The English guy flicked his cigarette at him and the bouncer just knocked him out! No messing around, just lunged at him and knocked him to the floor, it wasn't even a full swing. But the English guy being English stood up for more and it was a case of another bouncer holding the first bouncer back and the English guys mates trying to drag him away. Our group came out of Wayne's just after and said we were going somewhere else. It was packed there and had the wrong atmosphere.

We headed to Pompei another club and it couldn't have been better, they had a live rock band playing all the classics, there were posters of Kiss and Freddie Mercury everywhere. Anyway we danced for a bit and I ended up chatting with Pete for ages, putting the world to rights and talking about stupid Barbie type girls, it was fun. He kept getting me to repeat what I said cos he thought my accent was funny and cute! It was quite funny to be honest lol The group started to separate at about 3am so we headed back to the hostel. When I got there Caitlin was still up talking to Sydney and another girl, I didn't get her name. We had a good gossip and went to bed about 5am!

I'm on the train to Lyon now and have a dilemma, Pete and Adam are heading to Barcelona today and I have 2 nights booked in Lyon. I was planning to go in to Switzerland, but the weather looks awful and I've had so much fun partying I'm really tempted to head to spain for the sun and fun! Travelling is about do much and the best bit is meeting people and having nights like last night that it makes sense to me to go to Spain. However I have really wanted to go to Switzerland, but there is always next time, because I am so doing this again, because I've missed out Italy so far and I could do that together with Italy! I don't think I can pass up the sun, sand and partying! Any thoughts guys?

My head hurts lol I hate hangovers and my legs are so burnt they are stinging! The train is running along the coast so close that I could almost touch the sea!
