Ok I'm not gonna lie I didn't have the best train journey, I found out that a hangover and a ridiculously hot and clammy train for 2 and a half hours don't mix. So far every train I'd been on had been pretty luxurious, air conditioned and comfy. But the day I'm feeling fragile I get the train from hell! Anyway to cut this part of the story short I almost threw up all over a guy from New York, thankfully I made it to the toilet! My stomach doesn't seem to be able to handle drink as well as it used to :( lol

The next train I got on was nice tho, another super duper double decker train! I arrived in Lyon around 5.30 and hopped on and off of there metro and tram system to get to my hotel. I don't know why but I've been more confident navigating the public transport systems while travelling than the ones at home. Lyon seems really nice, a lot more relaxed and slower paced than where I have been. I'm really looking forward to exploring the city tomorrow, it doesn't seem too big and even the receptionist at the hotel said i'd only need a day to do most of it.

There didn't seem to be any hostels here so I'm staying in 2 different hotels. It's nice to have my own space for a bit but I'm definitely heading back to hostels where ever I go next! I've fallen in love with the hostel lifestyle, meeting new people and spending less! I wish
I knew where I want to go next! I'm not gonna go out tonight I just want to chill out, get rid of the last of my hangover and get a great nights sleep. I'll be exploring the city tomorrow so it should be an interesting blog 2moz!
