An incredible day of adventures around Siem Reap. We visitied Angkor Thom, an enormous ancient temple and palace complex which is architecturally stunning and culturally breathtaking! This day was packed with visits to sites of cultural and historical significance, and we also visited the Bayon temple, which features striking stone faces thought to resemble those of Khmer gods and kings. After exploring the Bayon temple on foot, we got to go on an elephant ride around the temple complex with a kindly driver and gorgeous elephant! We visited an ancient man water complex of baths which was and is of great religious significance! This day was epic because of how much culture and history we were able to absorb!
