Today we went to see Angkor Wat, an ancient palace which is the largest complex over there and Camboda's most nationally recognised landmark. The day got off to an untresting start as Dad finally got a chance to use his first aid kit to help an elderly French tourist; the poor man had fallen and taken skin off his elbow in the gravel. Walked up a mountain to reach a site at the top where there was an old temple complex, a sacred waterfall and pictures and symbols carved into the riverbed. The views were picturesque. When we returned we went to a woodwork shop, and then went to visit an ancient temple complex. The temple complex was a beautiful pink stone colour, and had been just for women. Surrounding it were awesome plants like in avatar, that shrunk back when you brushed bast them!

Travelled by mini bus to Siem Reap, and stoped for lunch on the way. Dad ate a cooked spider, as well as handfuls of fried assorted bugs! Checked into our hotel, looked around the city, then went out for dinner. The dinner was at a buffet restraunt with live Apsara traditional dancing which was fantastic. Went for a drive around the city in a tuk tuk, which was displaying ad's for tourists to go to a shooting course where you could fire machine guns and bazookas! We saw the independance memorial. We also went back to Wat Phnom, and there was an elephant in the middle of the park! Got to pat and feed the elephant!
