A relaxing day in Phnom Penh spending time with our friends, going to Psar Tmay, the central markets and the Russian markets, and finishing with a dinner party with family and friends!

Today we went out to see an old temple complex near the Tonle Sap lake system. It was beautiful, and I met a lovely local girl named Mia. Then we had lunch in a bamboo hut on the lake. I tried snails. They're gross but the view was lovely! After that we went to the zoo which was very different to a zoo here. We got to go in the enclosure and feed the monkeys, and pat a deer. Today we went and climbed to the top of Odong Mountain, and the view was spectacular! We then visited a kind of monastrey, which was an extraordinary complex with beautiful temples. We also saw a bit of nature, and more cheeky monkeys!

Me and Dad arrived in Phnom Penh. We were welcomed by family friends, and then went out to explore the city. We visited markets, the Royal Palace, the National Museum, the Headquarters of the Khmer Rouge, and Wat Phnom, literally 'a temple on a hill', and saw wild markets. A fantastic day exploring a wonderful and diverse country.
