Had a big night out with people I met in the hostel last night, and am feeling slightly the worse for wear today - the weather´s not so nice today anyhow, so I don´t feel too bad about a fairly quiet day. I´m planning to go to Palermo this afternoo and that should be a nice way to while away a few hours... Maybe with a cheeky glass of wine?

The last few days in BA have been really good - its a fab city, so much to do and always lots going on. We went on the funniest biking tour ever on Wednesday afternoon, it was meant to be about 4 hours sightseeing around the southern Barrios (districts) of the city, but we ended up being out for about 9 hours, with so much beer consumed on the way around that me, Eva and even the guide - Gabriel - all managed to fall off our bikes at various points. We look like we´ve been fighting now, with all the scrapes and bruising!

Yesterday Eva and I set off on foot to visit Recoleta and Retiro. The cemetry in Recoleta was fascinating, sort of spooky to think that that pretty´mini city´or ornate mausoleums all house dead bodies... Of course, we had to visit Eva Perron´s grave, although I thought it was one of the less interesting ones inside the cemetry!

We went back o the hostel and tucked into some cheap Argentinian wine, then happy hour cocktails and the party started... We ended up in Club 69 at some kind of hip hop night. Today I am paying the price of overindulging!
