I've made it to Sydney at last, and have been busy getting set up for the last week or so. I've met up with some familiar faces - Ant, Marvin and Suzy so far - and its great to have friends around again! I've just found a flat in the Potts Point/ Elizabeth Bay area and a job in the centre of Sydney - I start working around the 23rd June, so…
So, 2008 is the year for getting out there and seeing the world! On the 18th Janaury I leave London and fly to Rio De Janeiro to begin a trip over the course of several months through South America, New Zealand and then ending up in Australia. I'll use this site to post notes and pictures
(as often as I get round to it, anyway!), so anyone who is interested in how I'm getting on can stay up to date, and I can make you all a little bit jealous!

I woke up this morning thinking about you and wondering where you are and what you are doing, so decided it was about time I made contact.
Cat has just returned from spending Easter in Donegal, so I am somewhat overgolfed! We are both well and enjoying warm sunshine here in Spain.
We are hoping that Fliss will be coming out soon, but otherwise have no visitors planned for the spring.
Have looked at the last lot of photos you posted, and was reminded of Fliss's flirtation with gauchos and the pampas!

Woohoo - I get to be the first one to write on here. Have to admit it's kinda weird being on the other end of this blog thing (I loved updating my one!)
So it seems like you're having an amazing time so far - shame the weather has been a bit s***ty but I'm sure that will improve! Where is teh next stop - argentina? If so remember what I told you about the verb coger (do not use it!). Also, you must go to the Tango class which is above Cafe Tortoni (have a look in lonely planet)!
Things are same old same old here - I have finally got over my cough/cold thing (didnt drink for about 10 days!) I even had OJ at Album the other night - I must've been ill!
