So we have reached the end of our first 'leg' of the trip. We are in sinagpore and have stayed here 2 nights.... We fly out to Melbourne tomorrow evening.

Singapore is quite spectactular, the cleanliness, the architecture the contempory designs and lifestyle here really sets the city apart from other big cities! We have been spending time with friends we 'bumped into'on the street which has been good fun... we've done the usual touristy things such as visiting raffles, night safari but have had to watch what we are spending here as it is pricey for the backpacker!

Our journey down through Thailand and Malaysia has been amazing and particularly Thailand is somewhere that I will want to visit again....

Really looking forward to Oz now!
