Okkkkkkk I havn't updated this for a while as the computers have been too slow to allow me to do it! Since Koh Panghan we went to Koh phi phi and loved it so much we stayed a week..... the place was tiny and so pretty but full to the brim of backpackers so a lot of fun the evenings! It was so relaxed we ended up staying for longer than we expected without even realising it!
After spending one rather uncomfortable night in Krabi town we caught an even more uncomfortable mini-van down to Sutan (at the bottom of Thailand) and then a boat across to the island of Langkawi, Malaysia... Langkawi again was stunning but very very quiet, something we found strange having spent 4 busy busy weeks in Thailand.... we used this oppurtunity to enjoy the beach and take a 'mangrove tour'. We saw monkeys and eagles and it was all pretty interesting. We also decided ro rent a car for the day to tour the island by ourselves.... this was so much fun and good to have a drive! We went up to visit some waterfalls and saw some more monkeys.... the aptly named 'hot rod' faired well and for 4 pounds each was completely worth it!
Having spent 3 nights in Lankawi we made our way to Panang where we met Hannah's grandparents at their hotel... we stayed with them for 4 nights (of luxury) before catching a 4 hr bus to KL. Panang was again quite quiet so we spent our time (shockingly) lying on loungers and we well and truly took advantage of the complimentary breakfats, shampoo, shower gel, soap, water etc.... my back is completely full with freebies! We went out to the foodcourt in the evening to eat and met a few locals that Ken (the grandad) had made friends with!

Having arrived in KL we have just been touring around and have come across some huuge shopping malls.... we are all terrified that we will blow all our money here.. its just too tempting!! Oh and we will have our first dorm experience of the trip here as we are sharing with 3 other people who we are yet to meet!

I will upload all of my Thailand/Malaysia photos when I get to Melbourne on Sun or Mon as we are staying with some more friends there and we will be able to use their computers.
