Foolishly left Penang on the day of the general election. When the whole population travelled to their place of birth to vote. We couldn't get a direct bus to the cameron Highlands, as they were all fully booked. Decided to travel to Ipoh, transit central. From Langkawi arrived by ferry to Luala Peralis, taxied (no other possible way) to Kangar bus station. Bused to Butterworth, and from there ferried to Penang, another Malaysian island. 29th Feb, travelling to Malaysia After leaving Krabi town arrived in Trang.
