After a hairy bus ride winding through the highlands arrived in K.L. It was a struggle to find decent accommodation. Budget types were dirty and not that cheap.

However k.L itself was a noticaeble cleaner city, and planned. Huge clumps of rainforest were cornered off in the centre. We only really got hasseled to buy in the China quater, which was appreciated. Had an impressive sky train. But really the only highlights were the mesmarising Patrona Twin Towers, once the highest buildings in the world. The views were amazing from the viewing deck.

Surrounding the towers were expensive hotels and an exotic public park with a swimming pool and running track. One tower was full of expensive designer shops and Marks & Sparks!!
